| Date, locality and photographer for this fine steam locomotive portrait have not been identified. The original Boston & Maine Railroad was incorporated in New Hampshire in 1835. It merged with the Maine, New Hampshire & Massachusetts RR in 1842 to create a new larger B&M RR. The B&M RR then greatly expanded by several leasings of Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Connecticut railroads 1883-1900. |
