A. Reclus is no.5 of the ?Central Pacific Railroad and a 0-6-0 switch engine. The Boston Locomotive Works was established in 1840 by Holmes Hinkley, an engineer who was responsible for many improvements in locomotive design. The company was known as Hinckley and Williams from 1864 onward. Photographer and locality have not been identified.
