This real photo postcard of New Bedford Harbor (Massachusetts)in the late 19th century shows two whalers and a fishing schooner. Many substances from flour to whale oil were shipped in barrels. The sign on the small shed, main dock left of center reads "Nelson's Boat Bazaar". Updated 12.14.08.
