Maine Central logging train


No.119 was a 4-4-0 with 18" x 24" cylinders that was built in 1889 for the Maine Central Railroad by the Portland Company of Portland, Maine. She is seen here pulling a logging train during the winter somewhere in Maine. The Maine Central Railroad Company was organized in October, 1862 in Waterville, Maine. Date and photographer have not been identified for this print.

Resolution is 1292 x 757 pixels, 200 dpi for the digital file available for commercial license. The digital file has not been restored.
