| Loyal subjects place the king's head in a cloth for burial in a
coffin as the bishop prays for his soul and salvation. Meanwhile the
new king listens to the plea of a prostrate captive enemy. The new king
appears to be placing a long object through a loop attached to upper blade
of the sword carried by his minister. The significance of this obscure action is unknown. |
