Knights in Battle 1


- In the left panel two slaves, or enemy prisoners, grovel before the king. They clasp the feet of a knight who may be the king's champion and who holds a sword to the head of one captive. The object thrust forward by the king is unidentified.
- In the upper right panel, a cloak is thrust over the head an unidentified figure, while a guard stands by.
- The horizontal lower scene depicts a ferocious cavalry charge led by the king of the army on the left. Horse and human body parts are strewn across the battlefield in a bloody scene.


Resolution is 1264 x 1306 pixels, 150 dpi for the digital file available for commercial license. This presentation digital file has been slightly enhanced for improved contrast and brightness.
