| This is a very rare stereo card photograph of schooners dockside at Hallowell (Maine) harbor on the Kennebec River in the late 19th century. Such schooners were involved in lumber and fishing commerce. Maine has several large rivers that were the major transportation highways for the logging industry. |
| Resolution is 919 x 887, 266 dpi for the digital file available for commercial license. The original hard copy is a stereo card that is badly faded. This digital file has received rudimentary enhancement for improved contrast. The original unrestored digital file is available upon request. |
