Stonehenge center

This photos is a fine view of the entire stone circle at Stonehenge and was published in the 1867 Ordnance Survey report by Sir Colonel Henry James. We see the ruined state of the final stage of megalithic stone building at Stonehenge that was completed c.1800 BC. Trilithons are unique to Stonehenge, almost nothing like them is found in any other megalithic structure.
